Highlights
We created this experience rich itinerary based on a feedback we received. Combining the most beautiful hikes and blending them with cultural experience, we believe this vacation will keep you active while still leaving you feel rested once you return home.
The places we will take you to will be a mix of destinations, visiting pristine lakes, magnificent alpine meadows, and offering many breathtaking mountain and glacier views.
Itinerary: 7 Days / 6 Nights
The itinerary can be adjusted based on your desires, mountain conditions and weather forecast.
Day 1:
Our guide picks you up in Vancouver and together you enjoy a scenic drive on the Sea to Sky Highway on our way to Whistler. This evening, dine out in Whistler Village and discuss the following days’ activities with your guide.
Day 2:
Today’s hike is fairly easy and will take us to expansive alpine meadows. Here, we will spend some time exploring before returning back to Whistler. The evening will be perfect for a stroll through Whistler Village before settling in for dinner in one of local restaurants.
Day 3:
To fully enjoy glacier views and surrounding peaks, we will take the chairlift up to the mountain for a scenic hike in the alpine and a spectacular gondola ride across a deep mountain valley. We will spend the whole day in the high alpine taking in the 360 degree views.
Day 4:
After two hiking days, we will take it easier and visit First Nations Museum to learn about West Coast indigenous peoples’ culture and traditional way of life. In the afternoon, we will relax our body and mind in the calming environment of Scandinavian-style outdoor spa.
Day 5:
It’s time to explore beyond Whistler as its area has much more to offer. Today’s hike features visiting a provincial park with three pristine mountain lakes, a cascading waterfall, and viewing of a 2000-years old glacier that hangs high above one of the lake. On the drive back we will stop for a desert at an organic farm situated in the magnificent Pemberton valley.
Day 6:
Our last hiking day will take us to a new location again and will keep on delivering more of the beauty the Coast Mountains are known for.
Day 7:
After a breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and we will transfer you to the Vancouver airport in time for your flight home. If your flight is scheduled for evening or late afternoon then there will be time for sightseeing in Stanley Park and visit Vancouver locals’ favourite places.
Extra Day & Night (optional add-on, $250/person):
If you have an extra day for your vacation then we recommend that Day 7 would be fully devoted to more hiking, or going ziplining in Whistler, or really taking your time to experience Vancouver – after all, it has been consistently voted as one of three best cities in the world. Then the next day (Day 8) would serve as the transit day to the airport.
